I used to look at things that go wrong throughout my day and think, “why me?!” But now I look at these situations very differently, and I’ve noticed since then, that these situations no longer happen often.
If something doesn’t go my way, I have to realize that, that is only a small portion of my day and that sometimes, that is life. When you focus on the negative, you seem to receive more negative. When you focus on the positive, you will receive more and more positivity.
This goes for many other things, like the way people treat you. If you find yourself being mistreated repetitively, the first thing you should consider is that you may only be focusing on the ways you are being treated negatively and you need to be sure to think to yourself of all the positive ways people treat you.
I skim passed the negative throughout my day, but sometimes when it just seems to linger I’ve come to ask myself what exactly did I do to cause the universe to draw this negativity back to me. I am beginning to realize that this doesn’t just include whether or not I trip and spill my coffee in the morning or if I have a lack in money, I believe it is also the way people treat you.
I know many people that complain about how people treat them, but can’t help to realize that they don’t treat people very well themselves.
I think the biggest takeaway from this is that you cannot expect someone to treat you with extreme love if you do not treat them with that love in the first place. This can include some deep reflection upon yourself to realize these things and I think I can be guilty of this at times, whether it be between family, friends or your relationship.
I believe in karma to my core, which is one of the reasons why I work to treat others as I would want to be treated, because I know that if I do not it will find it’s way back to me. I understand that everything that comes my way, I have attracted to me, whether it be good or bad.
The law of attraction is nothing to be messed around with! I feel as if people recognize karma but not exactly how extreme it can be and how you can form your whole life with it, whether you find it to be amazing or horrible and whether you find people to treat you wrongly or with great love.
