Holistic healing is something I’ve been highly interested in all my life. I’ve always believed in the power of nature to heal the body, whether it be food, natural elements you surround yourself with, the teas you drink and the aroma you smell.
There are many cultures and religions that use a number of herbs for holistic healing as well as to affect their aura, they are good to add to your teas, to your incents or simply grow in your home or garden.
Here are a few natural healing and aura cleansing herbs that I found most appealing:
Lavender: Lavender is a beautiful herb to both smell and drink, lavender has been most appreciated for its calming properties.
Clove: Not only is it nice to grow cloves for your spices, but this herb is also known to repel negative energy, according to Witchcraft, as well as basil leaves.
Cedar: I personally love the smell of cedar, having it around can promote good fortune.
Betony: This herb is known as the protective herb, if you are feeling scared for any reason or simply feel the need for some extra protection, betony is a good herb to have around.
Mugwort: This unique herb is looked to, to promote good luck as well as enhance psychic abilities. A nice herb to have in your incents, as well as to add to your tea before bed to promote lucid dreaming.
Sage: This herb is one of my favorites, having it around is known to cleanse the aura around you and banish the negative energy, which is why it is often used to rid spirits of homes as well as in certain rituals under the full moon to begin a new. Sage also is a natural healer for inflammations in the mouth and soothing for the throat when added to teas.
Chamomile: Another beautiful herb, looking like little daisies, this herb is known spiritually to promote prosperity it is also used in teas often for its properties of aiding in sleep as well as indigestion and anxiety.
Bay Leaves: This herb has become very fascinating to me as well, known for heightening physic abilities as well as granting wishes. Some Witchcraft spells to help wishes come true include writing the wish on a bay leaf and then burning it.
Oregano: Another commonly used herb in foods, adding a bit extra oregano in your life can help boost the immune system, as it is a natural anti-fungal and antibacterial, used in teas to help sore throats often. Spiritually this herb is known to promote overall joy and energy while having this herb around you.
Rosemary: Another beautiful herb used in teas and as a spice often that can calm the mind as well as help circulation of the brain. Spiritually this herb is used as protection of the home as well as to promote physic abilities and purification. This is another herb that can be burned around the house, like sage, in able to promote this aura. Thyme is another herb used similarly.
The list goes on and on, these are just some of my current favorites and I will update you as others come along. 🙂
