To Those Who Chose Happiness

I believe there are two kinds of people in the world, people who have happiness, and those who seek it; this doesn’t always mean these people are extremely unhappy, but it does mean their always craving just a little bit more. There are obligations they wish were elsewhere and decisions they wish they could go back and change.

People who have a one track mind that consists of work and money and rarely have time for themselves and rest for their minds.

So here’s to the reckless, the ones who take risks, the ones who live life to its fullest capacity.

Here’s to the ones who may never own a Ferrari, who may never carry a 9-5 job 5 days a week; here’s to the ones who chose to live each and every day and not just for the weekends.

Here’s to the ones who chose to not live their days like a ticking time clock and live to work. To the ones who would rather shower under a waterfall than a sparkling, porcelain shower.

Here’s to the ones who sleep under the stars instead of over memory foam mattresses. Here’s to the ones whose vacations consist of fresh dirt and air instead of five star hotels. To the ones who take time to discover instead of to fantasize.

To the ones who find beauty in pedals instead of the stroke of cover-up. To the ones who explore off the trails instead of on pavement roads.

To the ones who chose passion over fear, love over expectation.

Here’s to the ones who chose their freedom.

Here’s to the ones who chose their happiness.
